The Warrnambool Family History Group are hosting their annual family history seminar.
Melbourne and local keen family historians will speak for an hour each on topics including understanding and tracing your family tree and how to publish information found.
Warrnambool historian Ray Welsford said it was important heritage was accurate. “Information is too available now and in a sense ancestry is now fashionable. People need to slow down and be thorough.”
The event is at Warrnambool’s Christ Church Centre from 9am until 4pm.
