It’s believed a vehicle attempted to move into a turning lane on Raglan Parade about 1.50pm on Tuesday.
The vehicle has struck a female pedestrian, however it did not stop and left the scene.
A woman aged in her 60s has been transported to hospital.
The vehicle is described as a silver four-wheel drive, possibly a Toyota Prado.
Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information on the driver.
