INSIGHT: Darren Weir's Warrnambool stable foreman Jarrod McLean.

Darren Weir has had a strong hand on the first two days of the Warrnambool carnival and the third day is no exception with leading hopes in various races. Weir's Warrnambool foreman Jarrod McLean takes us through the key chances.

Race 3 PLEIN CIE: He’s had four races in Australia for four wins. I'm sure he will appreciate the soft going. His work has been good going into this race and I think he's good enough to win again.

RACE 6: STAR STEALER: He might have been unlucky last time. An each way chance.

RACE 6: NIKITAS: From the Waller stable. He's gone well since joining the stable. He should be in the mix.

RACE 8: HIGH  CHURCH: I rate him highly in the cup. He should be hard to beat.

McLEAN STABLE: I've got Lord Of The Song with my brother Brad in the saddle for the Grand Annual. Lord Of The Song has had a faultless preparation. He's got a good record in the race. My biggest concern is the 69kgs but he's fit and ready to run.
