BANK cards and an Apple Mac computer were stolen during a home invasion and theft from a car in Warrnambool's Eddington Street early Wednesday.

Detective Senior Constable Wayne Ryan, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said offenders entered through an unlocked front door of an Eddington Street home while the occupants were asleep.
He said an Apple Mac computer valued about $1500 was stolen and bank cards were taken from a car parked across the street.
An offender has then tried to use one of the bank cards at a petrol station at 3.20am.
Anyone with information is requested to contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
An offender has also been arrested and charged after the North Point Liquor Barn was broken into twice in three days.
Offenders broke in overnight Monday and stole alcohol and cigarettes valued at $2000.
Police arrested a man after a similar burglary late on Wednesday night.
Investigations are continuing and other offenders are expected to be arrested and charged.
