Hunger, who led his team to two semi-finals and one grand final in his three years at the helm, said he would play on with the club, but was stepping aside from the leadership role.
“We’ll go through a process there to find someone new, but I’m sure the club will be in good hands, no matter who we pick,” he said.
Hunger lauded Terang’s efforts this summer, following grand final berths in both division one and three. For the top grade side, it was the next step in their continued push towards their first premiership since 2010-11.
“To be able to make two semis over the last two years and crack through to a grand final this year – even though we fell just short – I’m just really proud of the club,” Hunger said.
