Allen, who is a key part of Darren Weir’s stable, won both highweight races on the program.
He rode First Star to victory for Weir in the opening race and Brigadier for Mount Gambier trainer Wayne Walters.
The two winners took his tally of wins for the week to four.
“Things have been going well,” Allen said.
“I've been having a pretty good run but I'm glad the jumps season has started.
“I should have a few good rides in jumping races for the Weir stable over the next few months.
“We've got Now And Zen going well. He's coming back from an injury last year but is going well.
“He may run in the feature hurdle at Oakbank.”
Warrnambool hosts its first jumps races for the 2017 season on March 30.
