South West Healthcare chief executive John Krygger said about 80 residents attended and toured the new-look GP clinic.
“I think people were delighted to see the quality of the finishes there and the fact that South West Healthcare had actually invested in Macarthur was a really good news story,” Mr Krygger said.
The renovation features a refurbished doctor’s suite which includes a treatment room, examination room and disabled toilets. There is an upgraded waiting room and reception area with access to new and improved consulting rooms and meeting spaces.
“We have got an aim to provide modern facilities across all our campuses,” Mr Krygger said. It’s really pleasing to be able to demonstrate to the Macarthur community that we take their health needs seriously and we can provide services that meet their health requirements.”
