The Warrnambool Racing Club clinched a three-year-deal with the respected local integrated aged and community services provider on Friday.
WRC chairman Ashley King said the deal is a win-win for club, sponsor and community.
“This year the prestigious race will be called the ‘Waterfront by Lyndoch Living Grand Annual Steeplechase’,” King said.
“The Grand Annual Steeplechase is the showpiece of the TAB Warrnambool May Racing Carnival; it's a major race on the Australian racing calendar.
“We're very pleased to have an established local organisation like Lyndoch Living show such strong support for our club and the local thoroughbred racing industry.”
Lyndoch Living CEO Doreen Power said they were happy to have secured the naming rights for the race.
“We’re pleased to have secured naming rights for the next three years,” she said.
“It's important for us to be positively involved in the local community and there's no better community event than the Warrnambool May Racing Carnival.
“Having the naming rights to the Grand Annual Steeplechase will give us the opportunity to promote our Waterfront development and Lyndoch Living to a wide audience.”
This year's three-day carnival will be held from May 2-4.
