The Warrnambool Lawn Tennis Club member will make her titles debut on Saturday as one of a 64-strong field vying for the 14 and under girls’ crown.
Swarbrick, who will represent Victoria, booked her spot after a series of qualifying matches in November.
“I am really excited to play and can’t wait for it,” she said.
“It’s a big achievement – my main goal was to qualify for the nationals this year, so I am pumped.”
Swarbrick, who thanked her coach Matt Moloney for his guidance and encouragement, will compete in the main draw and, if knocked out, via the consolation section.
The Emmanuel College student is keeping her goals simple.
“I want to play with consistency throughout my matches,” she said.
