Detective Senior Constable Elissa Smith, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said there was an incident at Hopetoun Road on Tuesday night.
Police have arrested, interviewed, charged and bailed a 17-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy and a woman in her 40s.
They have been charged with aggravated burglary, assault and causing damages.
The teenagers will appear in a court during March and the woman in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court next week.
Detective Senior Constable Smith said investigations into the incident were continuing and the alleged victims were a similar age to the charged teenagers.
She said a disagreement involving the teenagers led to the incident.
Police initially said that up to five offenders forced their way into a unit on Hopetoun Road.
Three of the home’s occupants were allegedly threatened and one was allegedly assaulted.
The offenders are also claimed to have damaged the home during the visit.
