Federal Human Services department (DHS) workers in agencies such as Medicare, Centrelink and Child Support will take industrial action on four days during December in protest at a three-year pay freeze.

DHS staff, including those working in call centres and customer service centres, will take action at various times on Monday, December 5, Friday, December 9, Monday, December 12 and Friday, December 16.
But the action will not disrupt welfare payments and will focus on administrative tasks and other services.
