As lights bring the city to life and Warrnambool residents prepare for the season, a group of students shared their favourite stories with individuals at the facility, gifted hand-made decorations and asked a set of Christmas-related questions.
St Pius grade three-four teacher Clare Hughson said all the teachers thought it was a “fantastic” way to engage the community.
“It’s part of serving others,” she said. “It’s just another way to reach out and the kids have loved it.”
Mercy Place lifestyle co-coordinator Annemaree Stonehouse said the “ressies” loved the visits from students.
