Event co-coordinator Sue Smith said the interest in Our Lady Help of Christians Parish show was “wonderful” with some visitors just attending for a cup of tea and a chat.
“We’re having a great weekend and it’s been well supported,” she said.
Ms Smith said the submissions on the day were beautiful with more roses displayed than in previous years.
“It’s been a great year for roses with all the rain.”
Ms Smith said every student at Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School had submitted a floral creation to the show, themed Children of the World.
It’s a good community out here and a great church to belong to.

“That’s 360 just for the children,” she said.
“They all created wonderful arrangements.”
Show judge and local floral artist Margaret Laurence awarded Ros Thomson with a first prize for her floral art piece Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.
Ms Smith said proceeds from the raffle would be donated to St Vincent de Paul’s Christmas appeal.
“It’s a good community out here and a great church to belong to,” she said.
"We’re supporting Vinnies and they’re supporting the families of East Warrnambool in need.”
