The long-running event has moved to October from February and has added blues to its program, re-branding itself as the Halls Gap Jazz & Blues Festival.
From Friday night, music ranging from trad and swing to funk and fusion will be played across seven venues.
The line-up includes award-winning blues band Dreamboogie, Pippa Wilson Festival Band, Shirazz, Running With Scissors, Ally Cunningham Quartet, Arq, Sus2 Augmented, Amanimated with Annie Smith, Blue Tango, Christine Manetta & Black Pearl, Double A Jazz Band, Gramps Revival Band, a Nina Simone tribute, Roger Clark Quartet, and more.
