A sold-out show at the Lighthouse Theatre at 7pm will be followed by another at 9.15pm (tickets are still available for the second show).
Strassman’s new show iTedE takes on the over-abundance and reliance on technology in our lives.
Ironically, it’s the comedian’s most technologically advanced show to date, with his cutting-edge “puppetronics” allowing him to control five puppets with a handheld wireless remote control, resulting in a never-before-seen six-way conversation.
The show stars many of Strassman’s best-loved creations, including Ted E Bare, Chuck Wood, Kevin the Alien, Grandpa Fred and Sid Beaverman.
Strassman is renowned the world over for his ability to reinvent ventriloquism through his embracing of technology and edgy humour.
The American-born puppetmaster has a devoted following in Australia, where he tours regularly.
