Festival coordinator Barbara Cowley was pleased the weather was kind and said the event was a huge success.
“The streets were lined with people enjoying the flow of colour from the passing parade,” she said.
“It was a fantastic day for the whole family.”
The event began with a fishing competition for children on Friday night.
“Fish were released into the lake prior to the event to keep it interesting,” she said.
“Then on Saturday the lake hosted 500 plastic ducks that raced one another.”
“Overall we were pleased with the turnout and want to thank the community for its support.”
