Robinson shot a three-round score of 81-80-85 (246) with Anne Dwyer second with 85-81-85 (251).
In third place was Jenny Kenny 89-96-90 (275) with Eda Ritchie 101-99-91 (291) and Louise Cameron 94-102-99 (295) rounding out the top five.
While players were presented with perfect conditions for the final round on Thursday, the first two rounds on the previous two Thursday’s were more challenging with a wet course and strong winds.
Robinson, who was also the 2015 champion, said the course held up well despite the variable weather.
“The course was beautiful, it is in amazing condition,” Robinson said.
“It’s a credit to Troy Richardson and his team and the job they do looking after it.
“Today was the best day weather wise which is interesting because it was my worst score for the three rounds.”
Robinson shot 81 and 80 in the opening two rounds and went into the third and final round five shots clear of Dwyer who had shot 85 and 81.
Both players went into the championships with a handicap of six.
Dwyer started the final round strongly, mounting an early challenge to slash Robinson’s lead to just two after nine holes.
This early onslaught caused Robinson to re-focus in the run home.
“I did a few stupid things three holes in a row and let Anne back in it,” Robinson said.
“I had a little bit of the yips with my chipping. Anne and I are similar golfers so I just tried to concentrate on playing my own game.”
Robinson recorded a score of 85 for the last round with Dwyer dropping away on the back nine to also score 85 and go down by five.
In other grades, Helen Mahony won her first B grade title with a score of 103-98-90 (291).
Next was Sally Clark 103-98-99 (300), Denise Harman 104-98-98 (300), Di Grieves 103-99-98 (300), Jane Ritchie 100-105-100 (305).
There was also a first-time victor in C grade with Helen Greene producing a winning score of 108-111-116 (335). Next in line were Judy Austin 119-110-117 (346), Anne Eccles 119-111-119 (349), Helen Dwyer 121-119-114 (354), Marlene Hoy 123-119-119 (242).
