South West Oncology’s associate professor Ian Collins and medical oncologist Terri Hayes began consulting from the new space on Monday. Melbourne-based oncologist Oliver Klein will move in later this week.
Warrnambool haematologist John Hounsell is also based at the integrated cancer centre.
South West Regional Cancer Care Centre site manager Liam Jukes invited the public to view the facility on Saturday.
“We’re all very excited for the opening day and welcoming everyone through the doors for the tour,” Mr Jukes said.
Due to a high level of community interest those wishing to tour the site need to RSVP at eventbrite.com.au/e/swrcc-community-open-day-tickets-26166499705 or by calling 9516 2206.
