CHILDREN celebrated an early Mother’s Day with their loved ones at an afternoon tea on Friday.
The Goodstart Early Learning Centre in Warrnambool hosted the relaxed event in the lead-up to Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Children showed their mother’s and grandma’s their classrooms and the work they had completed, before venturing outside to the playground and learning space.
The kids showed off to their parents on an obstacle course and on the swings.
Handmade gifts the children had constructed were given to the mums and special people who attended.
In the kindergarten room the children made paint hand prints, with a poem.
Families also enjoyed healthy snacks and party pies.
Mums throughout Australia will be celebrated and honoured on Sunday.
