From the rugged coastlines of Cornwall and Ireland to the pristine beaches of Italy and the Whitsundays, Antill has turned these locales and more into highly sought-after artworks that take pride of place in many private collections.
Maybe the reason for this oceanic connection comes from her time living and painting in Port Fairy and Cape Bridgewater, where she spent a large portion of her 30 years as an artist.
Now based at Freycinet Lodge near Wineglass Bay in Tasmania, Antill has returned to the south-west for the first time in three years.
The Sea & Me is a retrospective covering three decades of her work and is on display at 161 Koroit Street in Warrnambool (opposite Target).
It will be officially opened by member for South-West Coast Denis Napthine on Friday from 6.30pm. The exhibition runs until July 2 and is open seven days a week from 10am until 5pm.
Antill's art has taken her around the world, including shows in New York and London.
