Daniel Bowman, foreman for Darren Weir's Warrnambool satellite stable, said Signoff waded in the shallows, trotted and cantered on the beach on Monday.
They also did the same on Sunday morning, less than 24 hours after Signoff's impressive win in Saturday's Lexus Stakes, which won him a start in the Cup.
Bowman said Signoff would have a "pick of grass and a walk" Tuesday afternoon before leaving Warrnambool on Tuesday morning about 8am for Flemington.
Winslow trainer Ciaron Maher said his cup runner Mr O'Ceirin trotted three laps of the trotting track at Caulfieldon Monday morning before doing a lap of the A track.
He said the seven-year-old would have an easy afternoon before Tuesday's cup.
