The result is a charity cruise down the Great Ocean Road on Saturday, with all money raised to be split and donated to MS Australia and the Cancer Council.
Mr Demartin said the initial idea came from Mr Davis, with he and Mr Howe jumping in to help him out with the organisation.
“We just wanted to do a little bit of a fund-raiser. We are all into cars so we thought we could do a bit of a cruise down the Great Ocean Road,” Mr Demartin said.
“We are meeting at the Flying Horse on Saturday morning and then heading down the Great Ocean Road as far as Apollo Bay.
“The weather forecast is looking good, so hopefully there is a good turnout. We put a call out on Facebook and about 150 people said they were coming so we are hoping for about 70 cars.”
Mr Demartin said they had made up stickers which will be sold to cars taking part for $20 each. All money from the sales will go to the charities.
“We want a sticker on every car that takes part and we hope that everyone will chip in a bit extra,” he said.
“It’s not just for custom cars. Any type of car is welcome.”
