POLICE have asked businesses to be aware of anyone with a large amount of coins after a smash and grab at the Cobden Golf Club on Tuesday morning.

Sergeant Heather Morris said two offenders smashed a window to gain entry to the Cobden Golf Club club house at 3.10am.
"The offenders then entered a room and removed coins valued at $2000 after smashing a wooden safe," she said.
"The offenders have then left the premises. An audible alarm sounded when the break-in occurred."
Sergeant Morris said crime scene police officers would examine the clubrooms.
