Sergeant Martin Flannery said the men, one middle-aged and two in their 20s, were asked to leave a Portland hotel just after midnight on Sunday morning but refused.
Police were called and arrested one of the intoxicated patrons, while two others were given penalty notices.
Sergeant Flannery said each of the offenders had been fined about $1000 for failing to leave the premises when required and failing to comply with a request to move on.
