The woman was attempting to make a left turn from Purcells Lane onto Terang-Mortlake Road when she lost control of the car, hitting a road sign.
Mortlake Police First Constable Paul Fiddeman said the 68-year-old woman was taken to hospital with minor back injuries.
"Instead of veering left she's gone straight into a road sign," First Constable Fiddeman said.
"There was only minor bumper damage to the car."
