Mr Martin, who turned 100 on June 30, is a former club president and a Paul Harris Fellowship winner.
He marked the birthday in style with his two daughters, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren at a celebration in Hawkesbury, NSW.
En route to the event by train he was the toast of fellow passengers as he displayed congratulatory letters from the Queen, Governor-General, Prime Minister and Premier.
“They all thought it was great,” he told The Standard.
