Held from June 29-July 6, Fun4Kids relies on the dedication and hard work of volunteers from the south-west.
Volunteers manager Sharon Wohlers said there were more opportunities for adult volunteers at this year’s festival than in previous years.
Volunteers above school age are classed as adult volunteers.
“The program has expanded offering different levels of activities for children of all ages, so we’re looking for more adults to come on board and volunteer than we have had in the past,” Ms Wohlers said. “Our volunteers absolutely love being involved with the event.
“Some adults volunteer year after year, some of them in their 60s, 70s and 80s.
“We look forward to welcoming some new volunteers to the crew,” Mrs Wohlers said.
