The 26-member side emerged from the three-day inter- group championships with 116 points, behind Northern Districts (126) and Ballarat Gold (120).
Northern Districts took home the J & L Clifton Shield for its success.
Warrnambool finished fourth with 107 points, having placed third 12 months earlier.
The points tallies were accumulated from 10 sections — involving singles, pairs, triples and fours play — over nine rounds.
Timboon bowler Arthur Finch was the best-performed for Heytesbury, finishing his men’s singles matches with eight wins and a tie.
The Heytesbury women’s triples and women’s fours sides were the other major contributors with seven wins each.
Brendan Keane and Shane Cashill led the way for Warrnambool with a flawless nine wins in the men’s pairs.
