HORSES and hounds invaded Camperdown's main thoroughfare yesterday morning as the town briefly resembled the staging area for a fox hunt.

Residents and passers-by were greeted by the sounds of excited foxhounds and commands from huntsmen and women on horseback, as the large gathering made its way down the elm-lined median strip in Manifold Street.
Organised by Camperdown-Ellerslie Hunt master John Goold, more than 25 riders and 50 hounds joined the spectacular parade, attracting a large number of onlookers.
Hunts men, women and children dressed in traditional attire including red jackets and shining long boots.
Camperdown-Ellerslie Hunt group was formed in 1901 and will hold a hunt today at a local property.
