Filming of the movie Oddball will begin in Warrnambool on Monday afternoon.
In the morning, the film crew will call into the Twelve Apostles en route to Warrnambool to obtain footage at the famous landmark.
There will be some street closures in the Warrnambool CBD once the filming begins.
On Tuesday, Liebig Street will be closed to traffic and parking all day between Koroit and Timor streets.
The movie cameras won’t be restricted to the streets. Next Saturday, plans are in place to do some filming from a low-flying helicopter, focusing on the Middle Island and foreshore areas.
The full cast for the movie has been announced, with Shane Jacobson starring as Alan Swampy Marsh.
Jacobson will be joined by a strong cast of actors including well-known comedian Frank Woodley and Richard Davies who has appeared on the hit television series Offspring.
