With the aim of getting primary school-aged children excited about fresh food, a local retailer is asking primary schools to support Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day.
Jason Morley of The Good Guys is offering schools the chance to win an “appliance refresh pack” of a new blender, juicer and sandwich press .
“The pack contains everything needed to create healthy and nutritious lunches,” Mr Morley said.
“In the lead-up we are calling on parents, teachers and friends to tell us how their school is getting behind Jamie’s Food Revolution Day,” he said.
“Whether it’s a fund-raising lunch, a junk food-free day or a healthy breakfast we hope this day will encourage lasting change for the better in the community.”
Entries can be made at The Good Guys in the Homemaker Centre. The winner will be announced in-store on May 16.
