As part of Law Week, the courts will be open for behind the scenes tours, which will allow members of the public a chance to get an understanding of the everyday working of the region’s largest court building.
Law Week is an annual festival of events that makes learning about the law easy.
Held in May each year, the seven-day program has taken place across Victoria since 1980.
The tour will visit courtrooms where the county and supreme court hear trials during circuits, as well as the magistrates court which hears cases almost daily.
The court registrar will also explain the processes required for the day-to-day running of the law courts.
The Warrnambool courts will be open for tours between 1.15pm and 2pm today and Thursday.
Bookings are essential and can be made by calling Michael West on 5564 1111.
