An advertising blitz by the Warrnambool Livestock Agents Association (WLAA) and recent publicity are believed to have influenced the change of venue.
Regular council meetings are usually held in the municipal offices behind the town hall quadrangle except in cases of larger-than-expected audience numbers.
The meeting starts from 5.30pm.
