Great Ocean Road delays

ROADWORKS on the Great Ocean Road this week will mean delays for motorists travelling between Princetown and Allansford.

One lane will be closed, alternating between the east and west bound routes, between 7.30am and 5pm from today to Wednesday.

VicRoads has advised that a reduced speed limit will be imposed for the duration of the works with five-minute delays expected  and traffic controllers on site.

Drivers have been asked to obey instructions, keep a safe distance from vehicles in front and consider the safety of road workers.

The works are part of  a major overall maintenance and upgrade project announced late last year.
