Turland was booked after he allegedly smashed a table with his bat inside the Reid Oval change rooms after being dismissed for a duck in West’s first innings.
Umpires Geoff Stephens and Tony Robinson reported him for unsportsmanlike behaviour and abuse to equipment.
Turland’s fate rests with the Warrnambool and District Cricket Association’s match committee, which received the report from umpires late on Sunday night.
The match committee can either offer a set penalty or decide to have the matter heard by an independent tribunal. If offered a set penalty, Turland has the option of accepting it or taking it to the tribunal.
