Offenders forced their way into a Colac shed and a locked safe before fleeing with two firearms.
Detective Senior Constable Mick Palmer, of the Colac police crime investigation unit, said the offenders were disturbed by a resident about 4am at a Wilson Street property.
The offenders had forced their way into a shed and a locked safe and then fled with two firearms.
