Just over 60 kilometres separates five generations of female descendants who call south-west Victoria home.
Mrs Young, 97, enjoyed an extra special Valentine’s Day when her newest great-great-granddaughter Evana came to visit at the Cobden nursing home, bringing the five generations together for the first time.
The proud matriarch gave birth to her only child Pam Newcombe, who lives in Timboon, more than 60 years ago.
Mrs Newcombe’s daughter Melissa Hallyburton, from Grassmere, is proud to now be called “Grandma” to Evana — one of the newest additions to her daughter Kriston, who lives in Warrnambool.
Evana was born on December 31 with her twin brother Dominik, becoming the fifth female to join the family line.
