To be held tomorrow at Victoria Park, the truck show will bring with it a prize pool worth $10,000.
It is in its second year and is run by a sub-branch of the Koroit show committee.
Truck show committee member Graeme Morris said the success of the debut event last year had helped increase the prizes on offer.
“Everyone who came along last year said they are coming back to support it again because it went so well,” Mr Morris said.
“And on top of that we have a lot of new sponsors and interest from truck people from all over the place.
“We will have a heap of different categories people can enter their trucks into and the prizes will be things like new tyres and rims and the prize for rig of the show will be valued at $3500.
“When you can offer prizes like that it gets people talking and creates a lot of interest.”
Mr Morris is expecting to attract even more trucks than the 90 that came to the show last year.
Local truck owners will again mix with those from across the state as well as rigs coming from South Australia and New South Wales.
While the trucks will be the main attraction, there will also be plenty more to see and do.
The truckies’ sprint was a popular part of last year’s show and it will be happening again with a strong field.
There will be a stage with live music and also a children’s entertainment area.
Vintage cars and motorcycles will be on display and also trade stands showcasing truck accessories.
The town is getting behind the event with the football-netball and cricket clubs catering and the Koroit Lions Club looking after the gates.
