Service manager Helen Sheedy said it was a beautiful evening to relax on the hill.
“There was a great crowd of about 200 people,” she said.
“Everyone enjoyed the music from local band The Chosen Few.”
As well as live music, the summer fun run series featured a five-kilometre event.
“The race was run by the Warrnambool Athletic Club and they had over 100 runners,” Mrs Sheedy said.
Wednesday on the Wharf patrons are urged to pack a picnic rug.
“We encourage people to bring their own picnic along and enjoy the evening,” she said.
“The friends of Flagstaff Hill operate a barbecue and youth mentoring group Standing Tall also had Dutch pancakes and strawberries and cream for sale.
“It’s a great night. Families just come and sit on the hill and enjoy the music.”
Another two Wednesday sessions are scheduled this month.
