The Hopkins Hill homestead at Grauers Road, Allansford, burnt to the ground on the evening of May 26 last year.
Property owner Bob Conn, 68, was charged with arson about 12 months ago.
Mr Conn’s former partner Roslyn Beevers, 52, previously of Grauers Road, Allansford, and a 53-year-old Melbourne man have also been charged with arson, conspiracy to defraud and conspiracy to obtain property by deception.
A contested committal hearing is scheduled to be held at Warrnambool Magistrates Court on December 4, 5 and 6.
Police allege Mr Conn and Ms Beevers promised to reward the Melbourne man to destroy their home in an effort to claim $1 million from two insurance companies.
They also allege Mr Conn had made a number of fictitious burglary reports in relation to his Allansford home before and after the blaze.
