Couldn’t this unfortunate former whale have also conjured up visions of hunger, war, homelessness and, heaven forbid, child abuse in Christian institutions?
Maybe the pestilence of fires and floods could have come to mind as suitable comparisons?
You profess to follow a man whose teachings include a parable about God’s knowledge and concern for every sparrow that falls from the sky. Please try to make an effort to conform to the values he taught.
