In this morning's early hours the offenders smashed a window in the front door of the Subway at the Homemaker Centre in Warrnambool East and stole the till float.
The same business was targeted last Wednesday when burglars broke in and took a donation tin before doing the same at the Mortlake Road IGA petrol station.
Police said this morning's offenders went to Henna Street Video after the Subway theft, smashing a window at the front door and stealing a small amount of cash.
Detective Senior Constable Colin Ryan, of Warrnambool's criminal investigation unit, said about 3am Warrnambool police were involved in a pursuit with a silver coloured Ford Telstar which was believed to be used in the burglaries.
The pursuit was stopped between Illowa and Tower Hill.
Portland police were later involved in a pursuit with the same vehicle but the chase was abandoned near Narrawong.
The vehicle was found abandoned in Harders Street in Portland at 5am.
Anyone with any information on the burglaries has been urged to contact Warrnambool police on 5560 1333.
