The move was not authorised by the organisers of Monday night's dairy crisis meeting in Noorat but today's protesting farmers decided to take things into their own hands as anger mounts.
Eight tractors are parked outside Coles supermarket in the Centro shopping centre carpark on Mortlake Road displaying signs with Farmpower - the name of a new website set up by the Noorat meeting organisers.
Several tractors were also parked briefly in the Safeway supermarket carpark on Raglan Parade.
