Police concerns for missing teen

Police have concerns for the welfare of a 14-year-old girl from Melbourne's inner east who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Charlotte Tucker left her Richmond home about midday on December 12, telling her family she was going to the beach.

A police spokeswoman said Charlotte was believed to be in the Clayton area with friends.

She had been active on her Facebook page until December 19.

Investigators and family members have concerns for her welfare due to her age and the time that she has been missing.

Charlotte is described as being about 165 centimetres tall, with a thin build, fair complexion, hazel eyes and long, brown hair.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call police.
