Originally slated to perform at the Warrnambool racecourse on March 30 as part of the Red Hot Summer Tour, Barnes was made an offer he couldn’t pass up — a chance to support “The Boss”.
A statement from Hot Off The Press Publicity informed media outlets yesterday the opening slot with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band was “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Jimmy” and Red Hot Summer Tour Easter weekend dates would be rescheduled.
All tickets already purchased for the event, which also includes Baby Animals, Ian Moss, Dragon and Chocolate Starfish, will be valid for the new date and patrons unable to attend the new date have been offered a full refund from their point of purchase.
The Warrnambool racecourse event scheduled for Easter Saturday will have a new date announced later this week.
Patrons are advised to follow the event website www.redhotsummertour com.au for up-to-date information.
