The St John Ambulance heart start defibrillator unit will add a bit of 21st century to the 1870s-themed Warrnambool tourist attraction.
It was purchased by The Friends of Flagstaff Hill group.
All village staff members have completed level two first-aid training including defibrillator operation.
“We are proud of the work that went into securing this item and although we hope we never have to use it,” said Flagstaff Hill manager Peter Abbott.
