Dylan Robertson, 32, appeared via a video link to Warrnambool Magistrates Court yesterday on charges of possessing and using amphetamine and breaching a community-based order.
Mr Robertson is in custody charged with murder, with those charges next scheduled to be heard before a Warrnambool court on February 12.
The amphetamine charges were to be next heard in the Portland Magistrates Court on November 26 but were moved forward to yesterday as there is no video link available to the Portland court.
Yesterday, magistrate Jonathan Klestadt said the substances found by police would need to be assessed, however, only spot-testing of the alleged drugs may be possible before February 12.
Mr Robertson said he understood the process and asked that his bail be revoked on the drug charges.
Mr Klestadt revoked bail and all charges will now be back in court on February 12.
Mid last month Mr Robertson was charged with the murder of Troy Hocking after an incident in Portland.
Mr Robertson was the second man to be charged with the murder of Mr Hocking, 20, who suffered a gunshot wound during an incident and died in the Royal Melbourne Hospital a day later.
Leonard Sciascia, 26, of Princes Highway, Heywood, was also charged with murder.
Neither man applied for bail and have both been remanded in custody until February 12.
Another Portland man, 31, has also been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder. He is on bail.
