About the role


We’re hiring for a Site Manager to manage our Warracknabeal site in Victoria. In this role you will manage the day-to-day operations of the site and staff. Other responsibilities are;


*Supervise a team of grain handlers ensuring the site runs smoothly and efficiently

*Assist Area Manager in planning, resourcing receivables and out-loading during peak & off-peak seasons

*Safely manage grain receivals and outloads

*Build and maintain relationships with local growers, supporting the community

*Manage site budget.


About your experience


Our ideal candidate has experience in managing a significant supply chain operation or agribusiness. Other key skills and experience we are looking for include; 


*Proven people management experience in a commercial operation

*Management or technical qualifications

*Good computer skills

*Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to multi task, motivate and lead teams

*Experience in budget preparation and cost control

*Customer/Client/Supplier experience

*Knowledge and understanding of SHE principles

*Strong business acumen


The package for this role is up to $141,000 and includes the use of a private vehicle and a remote living allowance. There is also the opportunity to earn a bonus.
