Your new role

Hays Technology are growing our national footprint and are investing heavily in the expansion of our NSW business. To achieve our ambitious growth plans we are looking for an individual who is passionate about client engagement and new client relationship development to join our team in the CBD.

As Senior Manager, Client Engagement at Hays, you will lead by example by developing a portfolio of clients including existing, historical and target organisations and you will develop deep knowledge of your portfolio including mapping the organisational structure, technical requirements and both current and future projects and hiring needs for each client.

You will regularly meet new and existing clients face to face and attend and organise relevant networking and profile building events. Using the suite of cutting-edge internal systems available at Hays, you will also regularly analyse client and sales data to capitalise on opportunities with existing key accounts and to identify potential new business prospects.

This role is predominately client facing and will be supported by a team of recruiters who are responsible for candidate sourcing, candidate relationships and assisting with job management. You will work collaboratively to deliver results; ensuring all client and candidate outcomes are achieved.

As Senior Manager, Client Engagement you will develop and maintain a high-performance culture in your direct team and more widely in the business. You will have direct team management and development responsibilities including sourcing, inducting, training, coaching and performance management.

What you'll need to succeed

The right person for this role will already have had a successful career in recruitment and be experienced and skilled in both direct people and client management at a senior level. Your previous recruitment experience will ensure you are adept with presenting to clients, a strong negotiator and able to effectively consult with and manage client expectations. Internally, it’s important that you can build strong relationships across other specialisms in our business and can effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
