Senior IT Project Manager

• 6 month fixed term contract with July start date
• $160,000 plus superannuation

About Our Client

This organisation is established within the property sector and are based in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. They are kicking off an exciting period of transformation that will see significant investment in their technology operations. This role will ideally be based in their offices for 2-3 days per week and will be commencing mid-July on an initial 6 month contract.

Job Description

Reporting to the National IT Manager, duties will include:

• Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of IT Project Management
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Design IT project risk mitigation plan
• Conduct project reviews and create detailed progress report for executives
• Lead project planning sessions
• Manage project budget
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders and vendors

The Successful Applicant

This role will suit Project Managers who have a versatile skill set and experience working within a small, hands-on IT team. Excellent initiative, professional communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude are non-negotiables for this role, as in the ability to effectively engage with executives. A qualification in Information Technology or computer science is required, as are proven negotiation and interpersonal skills. Other positions are available for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager or Application Project Manager.
